From the founder

Your software bill is a scam. I'd know. I sold the software.

I have been in software since 1998, on both the sales and the engineering side, on deals that ran from a few thousand dollars to seven and eight figures. Then I took a detour into the trades. I spent 15 years buying and running laundromats, learned to service my own equipment, and eventually started a dryer vent cleaning company.

Being a software guy, the first thing I did was go shopping for tools to run it. I tried all of them. The big field service platforms were either too much for a one-person shop or too expensive once I started to grow. I settled on Housecall Pro and genuinely loved it. It starts around $79 a user, but by the time I added what I actually needed, I was paying roughly $500 a month as a solo operator just to run a basic dryer vent business.

So I built my own. With modern AI, I wrote a full backend and an iOS app to run everything: online booking, scheduling, jobs, photos, compliance checklists, customer messaging, and accepting mobile payments. The same system pushes my finished work to my website, Google Business Profile, Facebook, and Instagram automatically.

Then I decided to give the core away. Not a crippled free trial capped by how many customers or jobs you can have, the real thing: run your entire business for $0, forever. We only charge for the Growth tier, the tools that hook into Google and social to bring in more work. In its first year my dryer vent company hit six figures, and I spend nothing on marketing. Every bit of it is generated by TradeStack.

When I got into the trades, other owners and trainers shared everything with me: pricing, marketing, how to actually clean a vent, and never charged me a dime. This is me paying that forward. I had the software skills and the trade experience, so I built the tool I wish I'd had and made the part you need to operate free for everyone.
